29 May 2017
This year's theme for Reconciliation Week is "Let's take the next steps'. This important week in our national calendar runs from 27 May to 3 June.
To coincide with this event, we will be holding a
"Stomp OUT the GAP" day on Friday 2 June
Students will be working with their buddy classes to discuss the significance of Reconciliation Week and The Cathy Freeman Foundation who have initiated ‘Stomp OUT the Gap'.
We, at Brisbania would like to show our support by students donating a gold coin. This contribution will assist in closing the educational gap for Indigenous students.
A special assembly will be held at 12.15pm on Friday 2 June and parents, carers and community members are welcome to attend.
