SAFE AND LEGAL PARKING PROJECT - ENFORCEMENT PHASE
Over the last four weeks we have been letting our school community know about parking restrictions and safe driving around our school. We have had banners and signs up and information in th...e newsletter. This has been the education phase of the project.
Over the next couple of weeks Council Rangers will patrol our school zone and WILL BE ISSUING INFRINGEMENT NOTICES TO DRIVERS THAT DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES.
If you don't want to receive a fine it is quite simple – stick to the rules. Don't stop in a No Stopping zone, don't stop in bus zones, don't stop on the crossing, don't exceed 40km/h. In the drop zone don't stop for longer than 2 mins, stay near your vehicle and be safe.
