CENTRAL COAST SCHOOLS CHESS COMPETITION
Wyong High School was where the Central Coast School Chess Competition took place last Friday. Brisbania had eleven students entered. There were also 24 primary schools and 9 high schools participating. Our school team consisted of Daniel, Sarah, Olivia, Rory, Haven, Mark, Tristan, Flynn, Oliver, Mia and myself. The competition was challenging yet enjoyable, with some of us even having at least 3 wins in our five games. We met new friends from other schools. A lot of concentration was needed over the day. Thank you to Mr Lemmon and all the parent helpers for giving us a lift in their cars and for the opportunity to take place in the competition. Your help was appreciated.
