Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6) 2016. REMINDER
Last year students were given a note the last week of school about an excursion that is taking place on Tuesday 2nd February (2nd week back).
Another note with permission, what to wear, times etc and cost will be sent home on Thursday 28th January (1st day back). Payment will need to be made ASAP. Details below to refresh your memories.
Stage 3 will be commencing the year with an emphasis on team building and cooperation. As part of our focus, we have organised an excursion in Week 2 of Term 1. The excursion will be a part of the Active Education Program at Mangrove Mountain, through Outdoor Education NSW.
Activities that the students will be completing will include rock climbing, raft building, the giant swing and challenge ropes.
This excursion will be the springboard to a range of activities that will be run as part of our Leadership in the Middle School (LIMS) program. LIMS aims to develop responsible, respectful and cooperative school citizens through a range of activities and opportunities.
The excursion will also be a way of welcoming our Year 5 students to Stage 3 and forming solid bonds between all of the students.
The cost of the excursion is $66.
It is important to note that payment will be required ASAP, Week 1 Term 1.
